Chestnut Appeal Fathers Day Wall
Sunday 20th June 2021
Unlike Mother’s Day, which is a traditional Christian holiday in the UK, known as ‘Mothering Sunday’, the premise behind Father’s Day is a lot more modern. Britain actually followed America in celebrating Father’s Day, so when the date was set to the third Sunday in June, the UK quickly followed suit.
Father’s Day is about honouring the special male role models in our life. A celebration of our wonderful Fathers and all those amazing Dads out there.
This Father's day, we are asking you to share stories and picture's of your amazing dads, fathers, stepdads and any other male role model in your life, past or present. Along with this, we are asking for a small donation to the Chestnut Appeal to help us support men, now and in the future, who have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer across the region.
Please share with friends, family and colleagues to help make our Father’s Day wall a fantastic celebration.
