With sit ups, squats, push ups and planks, there is a real range of movements to help you get started on your new year, new you, journey.
You can look to complete the challenge as an individual, get your household involved or even friends over a video call. Motivate each other to see the task through or make it a competition. Set yourself a time limit and try to beat it. Stick to the plan or merge in some jumping jacks, add in a brisk walk, jog, or a run. It is your challenge, so make it work for you. All we ask is that you stick to the current government guidelines whilst working up a sweat.
Share your challenge, and your fitness journey, by adding photos on social media. Don't forget to tag Scotty's Little Soldiers and use the hashtag #scottys30dayfitness - Inspire others to virtually join you or welcome them to sponsor you for completing the 30 days. If you link your Spotify account, people can ‘donate’ a song to your workout playlist. Update others on your progress and don’t be afraid to admit the days you struggle or to shout from the rooftops if you are smashing it out the park.
Here's how it works;
Want to do more?
Some of our supporters are keen to keep active and get involved, whilst wanting to raise funds but are not in a position to ask for donations. Instead, they are making a small donation to their own page and then asking others to join the fun, share their photos and help to raise awareness of the charity.
If you are keen to fundraise and would like some useful hints and tips then take a look at our digital fundraising information pack here. Don't forget that if you manage to raise £100 then we will send you a free t-shirt. Make sure to keep an eye on your inbox for an email from us.
